Role Overview

This is an entry-level software development role on the cloud-based Network Management System (NMS) team. You’ll help build tools that monitor and manage enterprise network devices like switches, routers, and WiFi access points. It’s perfect for recent grads or engineers with 0–2 years of experience—including internships and strong academic projects. You don’t need to know networking deeply yet; they’ll train you.

Key Responsibilities

• Build well-defined features for network device monitoring and management interfaces under the guidance of senior engineers • Create responsive web components for dashboards, device status displays, and configuration forms • Integrate frontend components with existing backend APIs to fetch device data and push configurations • Find and fix bugs in network management applications • Write unit tests and help with integration testing for new features • Create and maintain simple, useful documentation for the features you build • Take part in code reviews and learn from more experienced team members • Learn networking fundamentals, cloud tech, and domain-specific knowledge as you go • Support QA by testing network device integrations and user workflows • Make small but meaningful improvements to existing monitoring and configuration tools

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field • 0–2 years of software development experience (internships and projects absolutely count) • Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and at least one modern framework (React.js is a big plus) • Understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and some server-side language (Node.js, Python, or Java) • Familiarity with SQL databases and basic queries • Comfortable using Git for version control • Knows their way around an IDE, debugging tools, and basic command-line operations • Understands HTTP basics, web security fundamentals, and responsive design

Must-Have Non-Negotiables

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Good communication and ability to work in a team • Eagerness to learn—especially networking concepts (training provided) • Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle • Curiosity about how networks and devices actually work

Nice-to-Have Skills & Bonus Qualifications

• Some exposure to TCP/IP or networking fundamentals • Interest in network protocols, device configuration, or monitoring systems • Prior experience (even academic) with cloud platforms • A side project or internship that involved APIs or web dashboards
